Progress and prosperity in life depend on the best use of Punctuality. It is the most precious and powerful thing to succeed in life. Man is a social being. In the society, he cannot do whatever he wishes. He must conform to some rules and regulations. Without Punctuality there is no peace and happiness in personal, family, social, and national life. It is the most valuable thing in every step of our life. It is a critical factor to achieve success in life. In return, the man who acquires this great virtue will achieve his due respect in life here and hereafter. It is nothing but a mental matter. But it has great demand to make one’s life successful. It is preferable to wealth. One may have much wealth, but he may be hated and disliked by the absence of Punctuality. Without this, the nobleman becomes unhappy, helpless, and hopeless. If we do not make the right use of Punctuality at the right time and the right place, we have to repent not to achieve it, and so we have to suffer in our day-to-day life in the long run. We should try our level best to obey the rules of this virtue.

Dengue Fever is a viral disease which is caused by the Dengue Fever virus and it is transmitted through mosquito bites. Mainly, Aedes mosquitoes are responsible for the transmission of this virus which can easily spread from people to mosquitos and from mosquitos to people. Once a person is affected by this virus, uninfected mosquitos can be infected while feeding on the blood of an infected person. After that, the mosquitos will transmit this virus to a different person and they will also get infected by the virus. After getting infected by the virus, it takes some time to show the symptoms. These symptoms can take 4-12 days to appear. In the meanwhile, the infected person will have high fever along with some other symptoms. These symptoms include severe headache, pain behind the eyes, Nausea, Vomiting, Muscle and joint pains, rash, etc. Once someone is infected by the Dengue virus and starts to show symptoms of Dengue Fever, immediate actions should be taken otherwise it can cause severe fever which is known as severe Dengue Fever and it can even cause death. To prevent being infected by the Dengue Fever virus, we all should take precautions beforehand. First of all, our environment should be kept clean so that it doesn’t become the habitat of mosquitos. Aedes mosquitos generally reproduce in clean water so we have to be careful about water storage places. In order to eradicate the reproduction of Aedes mosquitos, there should be no such place containing clean water for more than three days. Other than that, a regular street cleaning including removing the discarded water-bearing container and cleaning drainage on is very significant. City Corporation should play a vital role in cleaning the city areas to keep its inhabitants safe from the infection of the Dengue virus. If someone gets infected by the Dengue Fever virus, they should immediately consult with the doctor and take proper treatment otherwise it can cause death. It is also good practice to use mosquito net all the time to prevent the Dengue Fever virus. As Dengue Fever can be a severe problem especially in this season, the government should take necessary steps beforehand to fight Dengue Fever infection from spreading. Otherwise, the death toll can rise high which will be troublesome for our country. With proper steps, we can save people from being infected by Dengue Fever and decrease the death rate. It should never be taken lightly.

Internet/MB আমরা মোটামুটি সবাই ব্যবহার করি, সেইগুলো আসলে কোথায় যায়? আর আমরা যে অ্যাপগুলো ব্যবহার করি (যেমন: Google YouTube Facebook ইত্যাদি), এই অ্যাপগুলো আমাদের ব্যবহার থেকে কিভাবে আয় করে থাকে?

 

কোটি মানুষ Internet/MB ব্যবহার করে। তবুও, এই সামান্য বিষয়টা বেশিরভাগ মানুষেরই অজানা থেকে যায়। অনেক আগে এই বিষয়ে একটি মজার প্রশ্ন পেয়েছিলাম। প্রশ্নটি এমন :

• কোন এপস্ ব্যবহার করে, কোন রেষ্টুরেন্ট এর ফ্রী Wi-Fi থেকে ফ্রী MB নিয়ে, বাসায় গিয়ে ব্যবহার করতে পারবো?

এই প্রশ্ন দেখে মনে করেছিলাম, লোকটি কোন পাগল ছাগল হতে পারে। পরে এই MB ব্যাপারে আরো কিছু প্রশ্ন পেয়েছি। জানা গেলো, বেশিরভাগ মানুষই এই MB জিনিসটা বোঝে না। আজকে, ইনশা-আল্লাহ এত সহজভাবে বোঝাবো যে, গাধা-গরুও জিনিসটা বুঝতে পারবে।

তার আগে, এই প্রশ্নের শেষের অংশের উত্তর দিব। ইউটিউব, ফেসবুক মূলত বিজ্ঞাপন থেকে আয় করে। ইউটিউব এর মালিক হলো গুগল। গুগল বলতে শুধুমাত্র সার্চ করা চেনেন। আসলে গুগল এর আরো বহুবিধ ব্যবসা আছে।

MB (Mega Bite) অর্থাৎ দশ লক্ষ বাইট (প্রায়)। ওজনের একক KG (কিলোগ্রাম), দূরত্বের একক KM (কিলোমিটার)। তরল পদার্থ পরিমাপের একক, লিটার। ঠিক তেমনই – কম্পিউটার বা মোবাইলে রাখা ফাইল পরিমাপের একক – বাইট। আমরা যেমন বলি, অমুক পাথর দুই কেজি ভারী। অথবা, বলি লাঠিটি ২ মিটার লম্বা। ঠিক একইভাবে বলি, কম্পিউটার বা মোবাইলে রাখা অমুক ছবিটি ২ MB সাইজের।

শহরের ছেলে-মেয়েরা এই জিনিসটি দেখেনি, কিন্তু বললে বুঝতে পারবে। সেটা হলো, খাল কেটে সেচ। গ্রামে সবার চাষের জমি আছে, কিন্তু নদী অনেক দূরে। ধরুন, আমি ও আপনি সেই গ্রামের চাষি। আমাদের জমিতে পানি আসে না। চাষাবাদ করতে খুব কষ্ট হয়।

একদিন শহর থেকে একটি কোম্পানী এসে, একটি খাল কাটলো। সেই খালের মাধ্যমে নদীর পানি আমাদের জমির কাছাকাছি চলে এসেছে। তবুও আমরা সেই পানি নিতে পারি না, কারণ ওটা অন্যের আয়োজন।

জানা গেলো, শহরের ওই কোম্পানীকে কিছু টাকা দিলে, তারা পানি দিবে। গিয়ে দেখলাম, যারা ওদেরকে টাকা দেয়, তাদের জমি পর্যন্ত একটি ড্রেন বানিয়ে দেয়। নদীর পানি প্রথমে খালে আসে, তারপর খাল থেকে ড্রেন এর মাধ্যমে জমিতে যায়।

এই ব্যবস্থার জন্য ওই কোম্পানী প্রতি মাসে একটা নির্দিষ্ট টাকা নিতে পারে। আপনি (চাষি) যত ইচ্ছা পানি ব্যবহার করুন। কারণ নদীতে তো পানির অভাব নেই। ওই কোম্পানী টাকা-পয়সা খরচ করে, এই খাল, ড্রেন ইত্যাদি বানিয়েছে। ওরা আপনাকে বিনামূল্যে দিবে না। আপনার কাছ থেকে নিয়মিত টাকা নিবে।

এই গল্পের প্রধান আকর্ষণ হলো – শহরের ওই কোম্পানী, পানির লাইন দেবার জন্য লিটার হিসাবে টাকা নেয়। জমিতে আপনি যত লিটার পানি ব্যবহার করবেন, তত টাকা দিবেন। মাসিক একটা নির্দিষ্ট টাকা নিয়ে আপনার ইচ্ছা মতন প্রচুর পানি দিতে পারতো। নদীতে পানির অভাব নেই। কিন্তু, মাসিক একটা ফিক্সড টাকা না নিয়ে, প্রতি লিটারে টাকা নিচ্ছে কেন? এর একটাই কারণ – এভাবে বেশী টাকা নেওয়া যায়।

আপনার ওই ইন্টারনেট এর MB কেনা জিনিসটা ঠিক এই গল্পের মতন। ইন্টারনেট একটি নদী। মোবাইল কোম্পানী খাল কেটে সেই নদীর সাথে যুক্ত হয়েছে। এরপর ড্রেন বানিয়ে সেই ইন্টারনেট আপনাকে দিচ্ছে। কিন্তু টাকা নেবার সময় প্রতি MB তে টাকা নিচ্ছে। কারণ, ওভাবে বেশী টাকা নেওয়া যায়।

যদিও, কিছু ব্যয়বহুল প্যাকেজ আছে, যাতে MB হিসাবে টাকা না নিয়ে প্রতি মাসে একটা নির্দিষ্ট টাকা নেয়। ইচ্ছা মতন ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার করা যায়।

আপনার প্রশ্নের উত্তর হলো:

আপনি যখন ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার করেন তখন MB কোথাও যায় না। আপনি ইন্টারনেটে কত ডাটা ব্যবহার করেন, সেটা MB হিসেবে পরিমাপ করে আপনার কাছ থেকে টাকা নেয়। টাকার বিনিময়ে আপনাকে ৫০০ MB ব্যবহার করার সুযোগ দেয়। আপনি ২০০ MB ব্যবহার করার পরে, আরো ৩০০ MB ব্যবহার করার সুযোগ থাকে। আপনার MB কোথাও যায় না, বরং আপনার কাছে MB আসে।

অবশেষে, রেষ্টুরেন্ট এর ফ্রী ওয়াই-ফাই এর উত্তর:

আপনার বাসায় কোন একটা সমস্যার কারণে, বাথরুমের কলে পানি নেই। প্রতিবেশীর বাসায় গিয়ে দেখলেন, ওদের বাথরুমে কলে পানি আছে। আপনি চিন্তা করছেন – প্রতিবেশীর কলটা খুলে, বাসায় নিয়ে যাবেন। তাহলে আপনার বাসায় পানি পাওয়া যাবে।

আপনি একজন বুদ্ধিমান। আপনি তেমন বোকামি চিন্তা করেন না। আপনি জানেন, কলে পানি থাকে না। পানি আসে পাইপ এর সংযোগ এর মাধ্যমে। কলটা খুলে নিয়ে গেলে প্রতিবেশীর পানি পাওয়া যাবে না। প্রতিবেশীর পানি পাওয়ার একটাই উপায় আছে – প্রতিবেশীর বাসা থেকে নিজের বাসা পর্যন্ত পাইপ সংযোগ করা।

রেষ্টুরেন্টের ইন্টারনেট বাসায় আনার একটাই উপায় – রেষ্টুরেন্ট থেকে বাসা পর্যন্ত সংযোগ দিতে হবে।
