প্রবাসী কল্যাণ ও বৈদেশিক কর্মসংস্থান মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীন জনশক্তি কর্মসংস্থান ও প্রশিক্ষণ ব্যুরোর আওতাধীন বাংলাদেশ-জার্মান কারিগরি প্রশিক্ষণ কেন্দ্র, ঢাকা-এ অর্থ মন্ত্রণালয়ের অর্থ বিভাগের Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation program-SICIP এর অর্থায়নে পরিচালিত ৪ মাস মেয়াদী মে-আগষ্ট/২০২৬ইং সেশনে নিম্নবর্ণিত কোর্সসমূহে বিনা খরচে সম্পূর্ণ ফ্রি শুধুমাত্র বেকার যুব পুরুষ ও মহিলা, অনগ্রসর, হত-দরিদ্র, সুবিধা বঞ্চিত ক্ষুদ্র নৃ-গোষ্ঠী এবং প্রতিবন্ধীদের কর্মসংস্থানের জন্য ভর্তি ইচ্ছূক প্রশিক্ষণার্থীদের নিকট হতে নির্ধারিত ফরমে (Online) দরখাস্ত আহবান করা যাচ্ছে।
Applications are being invited from interested trainees in the prescribed form (online) for the following courses for the 4-month May-August/2026 session, funded by the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program-SICIP of the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance, at the Bangladesh-German Technical Training Center, Dhaka, under the Manpower Employment and Training Bureau under the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, completely free of cost, only for the employment of unemployed young men and women, backward, extremely poor, disadvantaged small ethnic groups and the disabled.

SICIP প্রশিক্ষণের সুবিধাসমূহ
- প্রশিক্ষণ শেষে দৈনিক হাজিরার ভিত্তিতে (নূন্যতম ৮০% উপস্থিত থাকা সাপেক্ষে) ১০০ টাকা হারে যাতায়াত ভাতা এবং ৫০ টাকা হারে টিফিন ভাতা প্রদান করা হবে (বরাদ্দ প্রাপ্তি সাপেক্ষে)।
- অনগ্রসর, হত-দরিদ্র, সুবিধা বঞ্চিত, উপজাতি, ক্ষুদ্র নৃ-গোষ্ঠী এবং বিশেষ চাহিদা সম্পন্ন বেকার যুব পুরুষ ও মহিলাদের ভর্তির ক্ষেত্রে অগ্রাধিকার প্রদান করা হবে।
- উত্তীর্ণ প্রশিক্ষনার্থীদের বিভিন্ন শিল্পকারখানায় চাকরি প্রাপ্তিতে প্রয়োজনীয় সহায়তা প্রদান করা হয়।
- SEIP এবং SICIP প্রকল্পের অধীনে পূর্বে প্রশিক্ষণ গ্রহন করেছেন এমন প্রার্থীদের আবেদন করার প্রয়োজন নেই।
- তথ্য গোপন রেখে ভর্তি হওয়ার চেষ্টা করলে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহন করা হবে।
Benefits of SICIP Free Courses
- At the end of the training, a travel allowance of 100 taka and a tiffin allowance of 50 taka will be provided on the basis of daily attendance (subject to minimum 80% attendance).
- Priority will be given to unemployed youth and women from backward, extremely poor, deprived, tribal, minority ethnic groups and special needs.
- Necessary assistance is provided to the successful trainees in getting jobs in various industries.
- Candidates who have previously received training under SEIP and SICIP schemes need not apply.
- Legal action will be taken if they try to get admission by keeping information confidential.

Bangladesh-German Technical Training Center has been established in 1965 on 6.48 acres of land in collaboration with the Government of Germany. So it is named as Bangladesh-German Technical Training Centre. Our social and economic fabric is becoming more and more complex and technology-dependent. A worker’s skill must be perfected to a high level of proficiency. In the world of work today, a worker’s Productivity derives as much as from teamwork, punctuality, discipline, safety consciousness as well as from his high standard of skill. Thus qualitative changes in the character of the work-force mainly depend on the nature and quality of the training.
Bureau of manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) under the Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment are playing a very important role in the development of human resources by providing training to untrained persons for improvement of their skills.
Bangladesh-German Technical Training Center has been established for the training of craftsman, unskilled and skilled workers in a planned and scientific manner to the requirement of the country and aboard. This training Centre has adequate workshops, big floor space, equipped with modern machines and equipment (that time), science lab and computer lab. The instructional staff is highly experienced in their field of expertise and more than 80% of them are trained at home & abroad.

Focus and range of Program :
Need basis training program form to produce skill male/female manpower is the primary focus of BGTTC activities. Training programs are designed to Serve quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for producing skill by changing the attitude, creating leadership quality, improving the quality of work in a socially and culturally diverse workplace of the trainees.
Institutional Linkage :
BGTTCC has a linkage with different types Manufacturing Company related with Training programs in this institute. Digital BGTTC :
BGTTC starting the digitalization of its services. Registration of the participants, management of the courses, record keeping and evaluation through online is underway in this regards. Registration on the database has been made mandatory for 02 years duration S.S.C. (Vocational) and different short courses. BGTTC has installed broadband internet including Wi-Fi technology in the campus for easy access to the internet.
Library :

Computer Lab :
We have 03 computers Lab which are fully equipped with latest PCs with broadband internet connection. Participants and Faculty members are eligible for using the computer Lab.
Medical Facilities :
The centre has medical section and maintains a clinic with limited medical facilities. Participants are given free medical treatment, prescription and limited items of medicine.
Assessment and Certification :
- Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training issues certificate for short trade course.
- Bangladesh Technical Education Board conducts admission and certification for S.S.C (Voc) course.
- City and Guilds, UK for Accommodation Services course.
