বর্তমান সময়ে দক্ষতা অর্জন ছাড়া কর্মসংস্থান ও আত্মকর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ তৈরি করা কঠিন হয়ে পড়েছে। বিশেষ করে নারীদের অর্থনৈতিক ক্ষমতায়ন এবং কর্মদক্ষতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে বাংলাদেশ সরকার বিভিন্ন কারিগরি ও প্রযুক্তিগত প্রশিক্ষণ কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে আসছে। এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় মহিলা কারিগরি প্রশিক্ষণ কেন্দ্র (MTTC), ঢাকা সম্প্রতি ৩ মাস মেয়াদি বিভিন্ন স্বল্পমেয়াদি প্রশিক্ষণ কোর্সে ভর্তি বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করেছে।
এই প্রশিক্ষণ কার্যক্রমটি পরিচালিত হচ্ছে প্রবাসী কল্যাণ ও বৈদেশিক কর্মসংস্থান মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীন জনশক্তি কর্মসংস্থান ও প্রশিক্ষণ ব্যুরো (BMET) এর তত্ত্বাবধানে। প্রশিক্ষণ শেষে অংশগ্রহণকারীরা জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক শ্রমবাজারে নিজেদের দক্ষ কর্মী হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করার সুযোগ পাবেন।

১. কম্পিউটার অপারেশন (শুধু নারী)
বর্তমান ডিজিটাল যুগে কম্পিউটার দক্ষতা প্রায় সব ধরনের চাকরির জন্য প্রয়োজনীয়। এই কোর্সে অফিস অ্যাপ্লিকেশন, ডাটা এন্ট্রি, ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার, ই-মেইল পরিচালনা এবং বিভিন্ন সফটওয়্যার ব্যবহারের প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হবে।

২. ব্লক বাটিক এন্ড স্ক্রিন প্রিন্ট (শুধু নারী)
কাপড়ে আকর্ষণীয় ও শৈল্পিক নকশা তৈরি করার জন্য ব্লক, বাটিক এবং স্ক্রিন প্রিন্ট অত্যন্ত জনপ্রিয় তিনটি পদ্ধতি। এই শিল্পগুলো বর্তমানে শাড়ি, থ্রি-পিস, পাঞ্জাবি, বিছানার চাদর ইত্যাদিতে ভিন্ন মাত্রা যোগ করেছে।
১. ব্লক প্রিন্ট (Block Print)
এই পদ্ধতিতে কাঠের বা অন্য কোনো উপাদানের উপর নকশা খোদাই করে ব্লক তৈরি করা হয়।
- প্রক্রিয়া: ব্লকে পছন্দমতো রঙ বা কালি লাগিয়ে তা কাপড়ের উপর চাপ দিয়ে নকশাটি কাপড়ে ফুটিয়ে তোলা হয়।
- বৈশিষ্ট্য: এটি অত্যন্ত নিখুঁত এবং ঐতিহ্যবাহী একটি পদ্ধতি।
২. বাটিক প্রিন্ট (Batik Print)
এটি মোম দিয়ে কাপড়ে নকশা করার একটি প্রতিরোধমূলক (Resist) পদ্ধতি।
- প্রক্রিয়া: কাপড়ের যে অংশগুলোতে রঙ লাগাতে চান না, সেখানে গরম মোম দিয়ে নকশা করে ঢেকে দেওয়া হয়। এরপর পুরো কাপড়টি রঙে ডুবানো হয়। মোমের কারণে ঢাকা অংশে রঙ লাগে না। মোম ছাড়ানোর পর চমৎকার নকশা ফুটে ওঠে।
- বৈশিষ্ট্য: বাটিকের নকশায় কাপড়ে রঙের সাথে মোম ভাঙার সুক্ষ্ম দাগ তৈরি হয়, যা একে অনন্য করে তোলে।
৩. স্ক্রিন প্রিন্ট (Screen Print)
এটি একটি দ্রুত ও নিখুঁত যান্ত্রিক ও রাসায়নিক প্রক্রিয়া।
- প্রক্রিয়া: ফ্রেমের সাথে টানটান করে বাঁধা জালের (Screen) উপর স্টেনসিল বা নকশা তৈরি করা হয়। এরপর ফ্রেমটি কাপড়ের উপর রেখে স্কুইজি (Squeegee) দিয়ে রঙ টেনে নকশাটি কাপড়ে স্থানান্তর করা হয়।
- বৈশিষ্ট্য: একই নকশা খুব দ্রুত এবং নিখুঁতভাবে বারবার অনেক কাপড়ে করা যায়।

৩. 2D & 3D CAD (শুধু নারী)
আধুনিক ডিজাইন ও ড্রাফটিং প্রযুক্তির ওপর ভিত্তি করে পরিচালিত এই কোর্সে কম্পিউটার-এইডেড ডিজাইন (CAD) সফটওয়্যারের ব্যবহার শেখানো হবে। স্থাপত্য, প্রকৌশল এবং উৎপাদন শিল্পে এই দক্ষতার ব্যাপক চাহিদা রয়েছে।

কনজিউমার ইলেকট্রনিক্স হলো ব্যক্তিগত বাসাবাড়িতে প্রাত্যহিক ব্যবহার, বিনোদন, শিক্ষা ও যোগাযোগের উদ্দেশ্যে তৈরি সব ধরনের ইলেকট্রনিক যন্ত্র।বাংলাদেশে কনজিউমার ইলেকট্রনিক্স খাতের বিশাল বাজার রয়েছে। দেশীয় ব্র্যান্ড যেমন ওয়ালটন, মিনিস্টার এবং ট্রান্সকম ইলেকট্রনিক্সসহ বেশ কিছু প্রতিষ্ঠান স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে এসব পণ্য উৎপাদন ও বাজারজাত করছে।

৬. বিউটিফিকেশন (শুধু নারী)
বিউটিফিকেশন (Beautification) বা সৌন্দর্যবর্ধন বলতে ব্যক্তিগত রূপচর্চা সাধনকে বোঝায়।
ব্যক্তিগত রূপচর্চা (Personal Beautification):
ত্বকের যত্ন, মেকআপ, হেয়ার স্টাইলিং, নেইল আর্ট, ম্যানিকিউর ও পেডিকিউরের মতো বিষয়গুলো এর অন্তর্ভুক্ত। এটি বিউটিশিয়ান হিসেবে কর্মসংস্থান তৈরি এবং নিজের বিউটি পার্লার বা সেলুন প্রতিষ্ঠার ক্ষেত্রে দারুণ সহায়ক।

৭. হাউজ কিপিং/হোটেল ম্যানেজমেন্ট (শুধু নারী)
হোটেল ম্যানেজমেন্টের (Hotel Management) একটি অবিচ্ছেদ্য এবং অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ হলো হাউসকিপিং (Housekeeping)। এটি মূলত হোটেল বা রিসোর্টের পরিচ্ছন্নতা, সাজসজ্জা এবং সার্বিক রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের দায়িত্ব পালন করে, যা অতিথিদের জন্য আরামদায়ক ও নিরাপদ পরিবেশ নিশ্চিত করে।

হাউসকিপিং (Housekeeping) কী?
হাউসকিপিং বিভাগ হলো হোটেলের সেই প্রাণকেন্দ্র, যা অতিথিদের কক্ষ এবং হোটেলের পাবলিক এরিয়া (যেমন- লবি, করিডোর, রেস্তোরাঁ) সর্বদা পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন রাখে।
প্রধান কার্যাবলী:
- অতিথিদের কক্ষ বা রুম পরিষ্কার করা (বিছানা গোছানো, বাথরুম পরিষ্কার করা ইত্যাদি)।
- রুমের প্রয়োজনীয় সামগ্রী (সাবান, শ্যাম্পু, তোয়ালে, চা-কফি) রিফিল বা সরবরাহ করা।
- হোটেল ও রিসোর্টের লন্ড্রি ও লিনেন (বেডশিট, পর্দা) ব্যবস্থাপনা।
- পুরো প্রতিষ্ঠানে হাইজিন ও নিরাপত্তা মানদণ্ড নিশ্চিত করা।
হোটেল ম্যানেজমেন্ট (Hotel Management)
হোটেল ম্যানেজমেন্ট হলো হসপিটালিটি (আতিথেয়তা) খাতের সামগ্রিক পরিচালনা ব্যবস্থা। এটি হোটেলকে লাভজনকভাবে পরিচালনা করা এবং অতিথিদের প্রত্যাশা পূরণের উদ্দেশ্যে কাজ করে।

প্রশিক্ষণকালীন সময়ের মধ্যে তাত্ত্বিক এবং ব্যবহারিক উভয় ধরনের শিক্ষা প্রদান করা হবে, যাতে প্রশিক্ষণার্থীরা বাস্তব কর্মক্ষেত্রে দক্ষতার সঙ্গে কাজ করতে পারেন।

ভর্তি ফি: ৪৮ টাকা
এনরোলমেন্ট ফি: ৭০০ টাকা
অর্থাৎ মোট খরচ তুলনামূলকভাবে খুবই কম, যা সরকারি প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচির একটি বড় সুবিধা।
আবেদন পদ্ধতি
আবেদনকারীদের BMET-এর অনলাইন প্ল্যাটফর্মের মাধ্যমে আবেদন করতে হবে।
ধাপ ১: BMET নিবন্ধন
প্রথমে BMET সিস্টেমে নিবন্ধন সম্পন্ন করতে হবে এবং নির্ধারিত ফি জমা দিতে হবে।
ধাপ ২: অনলাইন আবেদন
নিবন্ধন সম্পন্ন হওয়ার পর প্রাপ্ত প্রোফাইল ব্যবহার করে Training Portal-এ লগইন করে নিচের ধাপ অনুসরণ করতে হবে:
Training → Division → District → Institution → Select Course → Submit/Enroll Process
সঠিক তথ্য প্রদান করে আবেদন সম্পন্ন করতে হবে।
ভর্তি হওয়ার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় শর্তাবলি
প্রশিক্ষণে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য কিছু মৌলিক শর্ত পূরণ করতে হবে।
১. জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র
আবেদনকারীর জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র (NID) থাকতে হবে।
২. BMET নিবন্ধন
ভর্তি পরীক্ষার পূর্বেই BMET নিবন্ধন সম্পন্ন করতে হবে।
৩. শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা
নির্ধারিত কোর্স অনুযায়ী এসএসসি অথবা জেএসসি/সমমান পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হতে হবে।
প্রশিক্ষণার্থীদের জন্য বিশেষ সুবিধা
এই প্রশিক্ষণ কার্যক্রমে অংশগ্রহণকারীদের জন্য বেশ কিছু আকর্ষণীয় সুবিধা রয়েছে।
১. ভাতা প্রদান
বিজ্ঞপ্তি অনুযায়ী, প্রশিক্ষণ শেষে NSDA Assessment-এ Competent ঘোষিত প্রশিক্ষণার্থীদের প্রতিদিন ১৫০ টাকা হারে রিফ্রেসম্যান্ট ভাতা প্রদান করা হবে (বরাদ্দ সাপেক্ষে)।
২. সনদপত্র প্রদান
প্রশিক্ষণ শেষে অংশগ্রহণকারীদের:
NSDA Certificate
BMET Certificate
প্রদান করা হবে।
বর্তমান চাকরির বাজারে এই সনদগুলো দক্ষতার স্বীকৃতি হিসেবে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।
এছাড়াও হতদরিদ্র, ক্ষুদ্র নৃ-গোষ্ঠি বেকার যুব মহিলাদের ভর্তির ক্ষেত্রে অগ্রাধিকার প্রদান করা হবে।

দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন
প্রশিক্ষণের মাধ্যমে বাস্তবমুখী দক্ষতা অর্জন করা সম্ভব, যা কর্মসংস্থানের সম্ভাবনা বৃদ্ধি করে।
বিদেশে কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ
BMET-এর আওতাভুক্ত প্রশিক্ষণ হওয়ায় বিদেশে দক্ষ কর্মী হিসেবে কাজ করার সুযোগ বৃদ্ধি পায়।
আত্মকর্মসংস্থান
বিউটিফিকেশন, কম্পিউটার অপারেশন, হাউস ওয়্যারিং কিংবা কেয়ারগিভিংয়ের মতো কোর্সগুলো শেষ করে নিজস্ব উদ্যোগে ব্যবসা শুরু করা সম্ভব।
সরকারি সনদ
সরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানের সনদ চাকরি ও কর্মজীবনে অতিরিক্ত গ্রহণযোগ্যতা প্রদান করে।

In the present time, it has become difficult to create employment and self-employment opportunities without acquiring skills. The Bangladesh government has been conducting various technical and technological training programs, especially for the economic empowerment of women and increasing their work efficiency. In continuation of this, Women Technical Training Center (MTTC), Dhaka has recently published an admission notice for various short-term training courses of 3 months duration.
This training program is being conducted under the supervision of the Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) under the Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment. After the training, the participants will get the opportunity to establish themselves as skilled workers in the national and international labor market.

2. Block Batik and Screen Print (Women Only)
Block, batik and screen print are three very popular methods for creating attractive and artistic designs on clothes. These arts have now added a different dimension to sarees, three-pieces, Punjabis, bed sheets etc.
1. Block Print
In this method, a block is made by carving a design on wood or any other material.
Process: The block is painted with the desired color or ink and pressed onto the cloth to create the design.
Features: It is a very precise and traditional method.
2. Batik Print
This is a resist method of designing on cloth with wax.
Process: The parts of the cloth where you do not want to apply color are covered with hot wax. Then the entire cloth is dipped in the color. The covered part does not get color due to the wax. After removing the wax, the beautiful design emerges.
Features: In batik designs, fine spots of wax breaking are created on the cloth with the color, which makes it unique.
3. Screen Print
This is a fast and precise mechanical and chemical process.
Process: A stencil or design is made on a mesh (Screen) tied tightly to a frame. Then the frame is placed on the cloth and the design is transferred to the cloth by drawing the color with a squeegee.
Features: The same design can be repeated very quickly and accurately on many cloths.

Based on modern design and drafting technology, this course will teach the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. There is a huge demand for this skill in the architecture, engineering and manufacturing industries.

What is Housekeeping?
The housekeeping department is the heart of the hotel, which keeps the guest rooms and the public areas of the hotel (such as lobby, corridor, restaurant) clean and tidy at all times.
Main functions:

Course Duration
The duration of each course is 3 months.
Both theoretical and practical education will be provided during the training period, so that the trainees can work efficiently in the real workplace.

Application Procedure
Applicants have to apply through the online platform of BMET.
Step 1: BMET Registration
First, you have to complete the registration in the BMET system and submit the prescribed fee.
Step 2: Online Application
After registration is completed, you have to log in to the Training Portal using the profile received and follow the following steps:
Training → Division → District → Institution → Select Course → Submit/Enroll Process
You have to complete the application by providing correct information.
Conditions required for admission
Some basic conditions have to be met to participate in the training.
1. National Identity Card
The applicant must have a National Identity Card (NID).
2. BMET Registration
BMET registration must be completed before the entrance exam.
3. Educational Qualification
Must have passed SSC or JSC/equivalent examination as per the prescribed course.

According to the notification, trainees declared Competent in the NSDA Assessment at the end of the training will be given a refreshment allowance of Tk 150 per day (subject to allocation).
